Here are the top four stories in Patchogue today:
- Rashawn Brinkley, of Medford, is facing first-degree sexual abuse charges after allegedly sexually abusing two boys at Gordon Heights Children’s Park. According to the police, he was arrested on Nov. 2 after a month later, one of the victims recognized him at the park. Read the full story here. (Patch)
- Long Island Pet Nanny has exciting news for pet owners in the neighborhood. A photo with Santa session for pets will be hosted at Patchogue Fire Department on Dec. 10 from noon to 5 p.m. The firehouse is at 11 Park St., in Patchogue. (Patchogue Patch)
- The Town of Brookhaven is bringing Santa on a helicopter on Dec. 2 at the Holtsville Ecologic Center. Hot chocolate, music and other fun activities will be available starting at 6 p.m. You might like to know that it's a free admission event. (Patchogue Patch)
- A holiday boutique will be set up at the Saint John's Greek Orthodox Church at 77 Montauk Highway in Blue Point. Vendors, Greek food, crafts and more will be available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3. (Patch)
