Man Shot Twice Outside Deli On Long Island: Police
He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital, Suffolk police say.
BELLPORT, NY — A 38-year-old man was shot twice outside a deli in Bellport on Tuesday night, Suffolk police said.
The man was in the parking lot off of Montauk Highway at around 9:23 p.m., when someone opened fire on him, and the shooter left the scene before officers arrived, according to police.
The man drove himself to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Fifth Squad detectives are investigating, according to police.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact the 5th Squad at 631-854-8552 or Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS, a confidential police hotline.
