Man Stole $4,000 Worth of Cold Medication From CVS: Police

Police say he hit two CVS stores in less than a half hour, fleeing with thousands of dollars in over-the-counter cold medication.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man who stole merchandise from two Patchogue pharmacies in May.

According to police, the man stole over $4000 worth of over-the-counter cold medication from the CVS located at 503 East Main St. at 6:30 p.m. on May 5 and from the CVS located at 470 West Main St. at 6:52 p.m. on the same day. The man may have driven away in a black SUV.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
