Motorcycle Crash on Sunrise Highway Prompts Closure Wednesday In East Patchogue: Police
There were no serious injuries, Suffolk police say.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Traffic snarled followed the closure of a lane on Sunrise Highway in East Patchogue early Wednesday morning after a motorcyclist was injured in a crash, Suffolk police said.
The motorcycle crashed on the westbound side of the highway, just west of Hospital Road, at around 6:30 a.m., according to police.
There were no serious injuries, police said.

The left lane was closed from around 6:41 a.m. and then reopened at 7:10 a.m., according to police.
