1. Teenage hero, Anthony Zhongor, 17, of Patchogue, met the father of the 18 year old who he rescued from the Patchogue Bay. Mia Samolinski drove into the water by mistake on Tuesday night. Charlie Samolinski came out to thank his daughter's rescuer in person. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
2. Treat dad to a day of fishing hosted by the Patchogue-Medford Public Library. Kids in grades 3 to 6 are welcome to accompany their grownup to the West Lake on Montauk Highway. (PMP Library)
3. A person was assaulted at the Long Island Rail Road track in Patchogue. According to the police, the suspect is in custody, and the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
