- Singer Debbie Gibson made it to the list of Newsday's 12 Summer Concerts you won't want to miss! Gibson will perform at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on June 11 as part of her "The Body Remembers Tour 2022." (Patchogue Theater)

- Nearby News: First responders rescued three dogs and multiple cats from a home that broke into flames in Shirley. On Thursday, the fire happened at Probst Drive at 1:15 p.m. Firefighters broke through a glass door to rescue the pets hiding under furniture. Police confirm all animals were brought to safety.
