Here are the top 4 stories today in Patchogue:
- A project for the Patchogue downtown revitalization includes an arts center and 91-unit apartment complex. The building that will be remodeled into the complex is located on East Patchogue and aims to bring art and new business to the Village. About $40 million is to be invested, and the construction is set to start later this year. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- The next Alive After Five festival is set for July 28. More than 120 vendors and multiple stages will be put up to rock the Village. In case of bad weather, the rain date is Sept. 1. (CofC)
- A ceremony in memory of the victims of the TWA Flight 800 was held at Smith Point Park on Sunday. Friends and families gathered to remember their loved ones who lost their lives in the tragic accident on July 17, 1996. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
