- Smith Point Beach reopens for swimming after a shark attack on Sunday. Lifeguard, Zack Gallo, was practicing a safety exercise in the water when he got bit in the chest and hand. He was transported to Southside Hospital and is recovering well. (News12)
- Don't miss the grand opening of the Great South Bay Music Festival at Patchogue Shorefront Park. The Group Love and Manchester Orchestra will open the event on Thursday, July 7. (Patchogue Chamber Of Commerce)
