  2. A woman was injured in a motorcycle crash on the Long Island Expressway near Nichols Road. The woman, who resides in Jamaica, Queens, fell off the motorcycle and was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Detectives are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to call 631-854-8452. (Patch)
  3. Courtney's True Blue 5K 200 is set for Saturday, May 7 at 8:30 p.m. The event aims to bring love and joy into the lives of children who lost their parents due to illness. (Patchogue CofC)
