- A witness of a hit-run led Police to an East Patchogue woman, 71, who left the scene of the accident after hitting a pedestrian on North Ocean Avenue. Pauline Ross was arrested at her home after being followed by another driver who saw the accident and called 911. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- Bring the little ones to the "Ready, STEM, Go!" program at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Monday, April 25 at 11 a.m. The little ones will experiment with magnets, colors, motion, reflection, and more because it's never too early for STEM! (PMPL)
- Nearby News: Two people were shot in a parking lot located on Route 112 in Coram. The victims were transported to a local hospital and were expected to survive. Police said no arrest had been made, and the incident is being investigated. (News 12 Bronx)
