  1. West Babylon resident, Treyvius Tunstall, was arrested after attacking DICK'S Sporting Goods employees with a machete. The incident occurred at the store on Sunrise Highway in Patchogue on Friday at 3:15 p.m. One person suffered severe lacerations and was transported to Stony Brook Hospital. (Patchogue)
  2. Patchogue Village is preparing to host its first Hispanic Day parade. The event will take place on Main Street in October and features dancers, food, and more. (Newsday)
  3. Jan Zdenek was found dead in the waters of West Sayville. According to officials, Zdenek was crabbing on Saturday, but later on, witnesses pulled him out of the water at 2:30 p.m. He was transported to Southside Hospital but was pronounced dead. (LongIsland.com)
