1. "Step right up" on Aug. 5 with Circus on Main! The event will start at 5 p.m. and will offer family fun for all ages on Main Street in Patchogue. (Patchogue CofC)
2. The Meatball Place in Patchogue is taking security seriously! The establishment is adapting the new system to verify I.D.s now using the Patronscan, which can detect people that may have criminal records or malicious intent by scanning their documents. (Long Island Advance)
3. Teens can get a nice treat at the Patchogue-Medford Library if they participate in the "Smoothie Smash" program. Creativity will flow as participants create their recipes! The fun starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30. (PMPL)
