1. The Lt. Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum is now open in West Sayville in honor of Patchogue's fallen hero. Murphy lost his life on June 28, 2005, during a military operation in Afghanistan. (News 12 Westchester)
2. Alive After Five is set for its grand return on July 14. After two years of cancellations, the Patchogue community will again enjoy summer evenings outdoors at the sounds of local bands. Parking will be available at St. Joseph’s University with a free shuttle to Main Street. (Greater Long Island)
3. Get a clue to escape the room at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library on Thursday, June 30. The game afternoon will run from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. All are welcome to participate. (PMP Library)
