1. The Dublin Deck in Patchogue said farewell to the volleyball courts to welcome new projects aimed at attracting the older crowd. A firepit and a cascade are the new attractions added to the restaurant space offering cozy entertainment in the cooler months and a schedule of game nights. (Greater Patchogue)
2. Summer lunches will be hosted on Aug. 1 from 11:15 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library. Anyone 18 and under is welcome to get a free meal. (PMPL)
