Here are the top 5 stories today in Patchogue:

  1. MoCa LI will treat us all with a Summer RATGRRL Vendor Circus. The event will be held on Terry Street with illustrators, printmakers, handmade jewelry, painters, and more displaying their work while the community strolls with food and refreshments. Live music and food trucks will complete the fun on June 12 from 1-6 p.m. (Patchogue CofC)
  2. Summer is the season for big celebrations; knowing that, the Patchogue-Medford and St. Joseph’s University graduate, Brianna Harmon, opened a party rental company while carrying her first baby. Harmon purchased the Carts Co. and now is on the team of our local business owners, offering party props, champagne carts, and more. (Greater Long Island)
  3. Do you think your toddler would have fun making sandcastles? If so, Monday, June 13 at 10 a.m. at the Patchogue-Medford Public Library will be a fun place to go and let the creativity of the little ones flow. (PMP Library)
  4. For parents who want to keep their young dancers busy in the summer, Ascend Dance Company in Patchogue will host an open house on June 15. Kids aged 13 and up will choose between Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and other rhythms. The studio is located at 427b W. Main St., Patchogue. (Patch Events)
  5. Nearby News: Film buffs have a lot to celebrate with the return of the Stony Brook Film Festival. Staller Center for the Arts will host the nine days of short plays and more from July 21-30. To access the schedule of events, visit stonybrookfilmfestival.com. (Stony Brook News)
