1. Fall Festival Nightmare on Main Patchogue Main Street kicks off this weekend. Saturday is the day to appreciate all fall happenings and treats on Main, starting at 11 a.m. Be aware that a chili/chowder contest will happen. (Patchogue Village)
2. Long Islanders business owners are blasting sales using TikTok as a marketing tool. Ivory & Main, the first plus-size bridal boutique on the Island, is one of the stores boosting sales by uploading videos on social media with over 3.7 million views. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
3. The teen department of the Patchogue-Medford Public Library celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with trivia with questions about actors, pop culture, music, and more. Register to attend and test your Hispanic culture skills in this engaging program for teens. (Patch)
4. A shooting occurred on Sunday night on the front porch of the candidate. U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin house. According to a press release, Zeldin's twin daughters were home when they heard gunshots outside the house and called 911. During the incident, Zeldin and his wife, Diana, attended a Columbus day parade in the Bronx. (Patch)
