- Fall Festival Nightmare on Main Patchogue Main Street kicks off this weekend. Saturday is the day to appreciate all fall happenings and treats on Main, starting at 11 a.m. Be aware that a chili/chowder contest will happen. (Patchogue Village)

- A shooting occurred on Sunday night on the front porch of the candidate. U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin house. According to a press release, Zeldin's twin daughters were home when they heard gunshots outside the house and called 911.
