1. Today is Comedy Night at Patchogue Fire Department. Dinner, dessert and drinks will be served during the event. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased with John at 631-289-3803. The fun night features comedians from the BYO Basket at 6 p.m. (Patchogue Fire Department Via Facebook)
2. A free Thanksgiving Dinner will be served at Harmony Cafe and the Toast Coffeehouse in Patchogue. The event is set for Nov. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. Live music and other festivities will make the occasion extra special. All are welcome to attend as space allows. An RSVP form is asked to be filled out. 3. The Patchogue-Medford Public Library is hosting the next Booktoberfest Event on Monday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. The session is at The Plaza Cinema for library cardholders 21+. The "Greatest Beer Run Ever" will be screened. You can register and watch the trailer here. (PMPL)
4. New York is under storm preparations this weekend as Nicole started its downpouring Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Dumptrucks, wood chippers and vacuum trucks are expected to clean up street debris. PSEG LI is on the lookout for possible outages. (News12)
