  1. The New York General Election is over. I am sure many Patchogue Patch readers are interested in the results. If you'd like to find out, you can check it out here. (NY Elections)
  2. Patchogue-Medford Public Library will host a book sale on Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community will have the opportunity to find great literature for low prices. Books for all ages will be available for purchase. (Patchogue Chamber of Commerce)
  3. A "Christmas Carol" is coming to Patchogue this year! The famous Broadway musical will run in the village from Dec. 16-28. The spectacle features a series of songs, dances and a performance that unveils a classic holiday tale. Tickets can be purchased here. (Broadway World)
  4. Patchogue Blue Point Brewing Co. gathered the community and beer vendors on its parking lot to host the 18th annual Cask Ale Festival, which is one of the most significant events in the Village. Visit the link to see twenty-five scenes of the outing hosted on Saturday. (Greater Long Island)
  5. Veteran Day is Friday and significant events are happening this week to support and honor the ones who served. Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone shared the news of Operation Green Light, a drive to support veterans' families with resources and donations. The event will be hosted at 100 Veterans Memorial Highway in Hauppauge on Thursday, Nov. 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. (The Suffolk County News)
