  1. Patchogue Park Department features the "Walk Through Zoo and & Holiday Vendors' Market" on Saturday, Nov. 19. The event will be held at 380 Bay Avenue in Patchogue from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Patchogue Village)
  2. Officials are looking for the owner of a boat that washed up on the shore of the Smith Point County Park in Shirley. The United States Coast Guard officials confirmed the 25-foot boat was found on Sunday night with no one on board. Police continue to search and are asking anyone with information to call the Coast Guard's Sector Long Island Sound Command Center at 203-468-4421. (Patch)
  3. A home fire in North Patchogue left a young man seriously injured on Evans Steet on Monday morning. A dog was found dead, and two other puppies were missing. The man was transported to Stony Brook Hospital. The cause of the fire hasn't been determined. (Patch)
  4. The Patchogue Boat Parade kicks off in November. The traditional event is free for the public, and features themed decorated crafts sailing around the Patchogue River on Nov. 20 at 5 p.m. (Patchogue Chamber Of Commerce)
