- Patchogue detectives are investigating a possible armed robbery at a Speedway on Horseblock Road in Yaphank. The convenience store employee reported that a man entered the store with an object that looked like a firearm to demand cash and fled from the scene. (Patch)
- Patchogue-Medford Public Library hosts the Billiards For Beginners on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Teens are welcome to have fun while learning to play pool at 4 p.m. Registration is required. (Patchogue Chamber of Commerce)
- Patchogue Parks Department will host a Menorah Lighting on Friday, Nov. 18. The event will be held at the Capital One Plaza on Patchogue Main Street at 5:30 p.m. It's a Temple Beth-El event. (Patchogue Village)
- Suffolk Police sought a suspect who fled from a police officer on Granny Road. The officer reported the man committed a traffic violation but escaped through Prospect Avenue when the police tried to pull him over. The car involved in the incident is a Black Hyundai SUV with a Connecticut license plate 615- ZGU. (News12)

- Atlantic Wind Symphony will host its annual Veteran's Day Concert at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts. The event honors our veterans on Friday, Nov. 11, at 3 p.m. (Patchogue Theater)
- Halloween weekend was extra busy for the New York State Police. According to official reports, there were 189 arrests for DWI, and around 11,000 tickets were issued. Police said these numbers are up 42 percent if compared to last year. (LI News12)
