1. Daniel Labbe from Medford was arrested in Rocky Point for allegedly stealing two catalytic converters from two vehicles parked at a barbershop parking lot. Resident Johnnie Can chased the suspect on Saturday morning after seeing him trying to leave with the objects. Police arrested Labbe at the Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve. (LI News12)
2. Village of Patchogue Recycling Day is on Wednesday, Oct. 26. A curby can and two bulk items will be collected. No glass will be accepted. (Village of Patchogue)

4. Stony Brook Mobile Mammography Van celebrates a 5,000 free cancer screening milestone! That incredible number was reached in the last four years. The van has been traveling to serve Long Islanders since 2018 with free screens for women aged 40 and up. (Dan’s Papers)
