- Daniel Labbe from Medford was arrested in Rocky Point for allegedly stealing two catalytic converters from two vehicles parked at a barbershop parking lot. Resident Johnnie Can chased the suspect on Saturday morning after seeing him trying to leave with the objects. Police arrested Labbe at the Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve. (LI News12)
- Village of Patchogue Recycling Day is on Wednesday, Oct. 26. A curby can and two bulk items will be collected. No glass will be accepted. (Village of Patchogue)
