Patchogue Village Sanitary Worker Injured By Vehicle: Authorities
The man sustained a broken collar bone, Village Clerk Lori Devlin said.
PATCHOGUE, NY — A village sanitary worker was struck by a vehicle and injured on Main Street outside of the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Tuesday, authorities said.
The man was struck by a private vehicle just before 7 a.m., sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, a Suffolk police spokeswoman said.
The worker, who is employed as a seasonal garbage collector, had a broken collar bone and is expected to recover, Village Clerk Lori Devlin said.
