- A woman is accused of stealing $1,600 from Patchogue's nonprofit Angels of Long Island store. Owner Debbie Loesch reported the theft on Sept. 25 at 12:40 p.m. and said the money was to pay salaries and rent. (Newsday/Subscription Required)
- A woman died after a 2015 Audi A4Veteran Highway hit her 2001 Chevrolet Impala. The Impala was about to turn left on Suffolk Avenue at the moment of the accident on Friday night, just after 7 p.m. (Patchogue Patch)
- The first Hispanic Cultural Parade in Patchogue was postponed to Oct. 23 at noon on Main Street. The event was scheduled for October 2 on Main Street but had to be canceled due to the weather conditions on Long Island over the weekend. (Greater Long Island)
