  1. Patchogue Beer Festival is set for Sunday. The fest will be hosted by Burgerology at Railroad Avenue starting at 2 p.m. Beer, music, food and everything in between runs until 6 p.m. (Patch Events)
  2. Patchogue's first Hispanic Cultural Parade on Main Street is scheduled for Oct. 23 at noon. It promises to be a fantastic multicultural event in the village with presentations, music, food and more! (Patchogue Village)
  3. Mastic Fire Department is hosting a Trunk-Or-Treat for Caitlyn's vision at William Floyd High School this Saturday. This event will run from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome. Learn Caitlyn's full story here. (Patch)
  4. Suffolk police are offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who gives information that leads to the arrest of the driver who hit and killed Tyler Phillips. The hit-and-run happened on Granny Road in Coram on Oct. 12. According to his sister, who survived the incident, Phillips pushed her out of the way to save her from being hit. (Port Jefferson Patch)

  • Another Fall Festival is coming to Patchogue! The host will be the golf simulator bar and restaurant, Birdies. The event kicks off Sunday, featuring live music, pumpkin beers, food and a costume contest. A 50 percent discount will be offered if you would like to golf. (Patch)
  • The proposal to improve the air system at the Patchogue-Medford School District's classrooms did not pass. Most residents voted no on the $45- million proposal to be invested in new ventilation and air conditioning system. (Patch)
