Suspect Swiped Around $4.4K In Pipes From Long Island Lowe's: Police

He fled in a vehicle following the Sept. 1 theft, police say.

EAST PATCHOGUE, NY — Suffolk police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect they say swiped merchandise from an East Patchogue store earlier this month.

The man stole around $4,400 worth of PVC pipes from Lowe’s Montauk Highway location sometime on the night of Sept. 1, police said.

In surveillance video, he can be seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, and a long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers, according to police.

The crime has been classified grand larceny.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest in the case.
