Suspect Used Bogus $50 Bills In Cash Transfer At 7-11 In Middle Island: Police
Five were used to get an electronic transfer of $250 to his Cash App account, Suffolk police say.
MIDDLE ISLAND, NY — Detectives are investigating a suspect they say passed five counterfeit $50 bills at 7-Eleven in Middle Island on Oct. 31, Suffolk police said Tuesday.
Police say a man passed the bills to get an electronic transfer of $250 to his Cash App account at the Middle Country Road location.
In images from surveillance video, the man can be seen wearing light-colored pants, a white top, and black jacket.

The 7th Squad in Shirley is investigating the crime as first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
