Vehicle Flips On Sunrise Highway In North Bellport, Injuring 1: Police

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A vehicle overturned on Sunrise Highway in North Bellport, injuring one person early Monday morning, Suffolk police say.

Highway Patrol officers were responded to a report of an overturned vehicle on eastbound 27, near the Exit 57 ramp, at 5:44 a.m., according to police. One person was taken to an area hospital for minor injuries, police said.

It is not clear how long traffic was snarled as police investigated the scene.
