Orangetown Board Holding Special Meeting After Workshop
The Orangetown Council will hold a special town board meeting Tuesday to vote on a SEQR resolution related to the financing of the sludge tank capital project.

The Orangetown Town Council announced Monday that it will hold a special town board meeting after the workshop scheduled to begin 8 p.m. Tuesday.
The board will vote on a SEQR resolution, which is necessary for the town's application to the EFC (Environmental Facilities Corporation) to finance the sludge tank capital project.
The full agenda for the workshop meeting is attached to this report. Among the items up for discussion are a public hearing set for 8 p.m. Aug. 28 to address property maintenance code violations at four locations in Orangetown.

There will also be a public presentation Aug. 28 by Wilson-Elser regarding the Rockland Psychiatric Center property and state agencies.
The board will also discuss potential changes to the town's Project Review Committee and the retention of Sylvia A. Welch, Ph.D. of Piermont to assist in the research and preparation of grant applications for Orangetown.
