Pearl River Public Library celebrated 50 years on Franklin Ave. with an open house Sunday.
The event drew residents and local officials on the 50th anniversary of the dedication of the building, which has since seen major renovations.
The open house opened with a ceremony at the Heinz Ahlmeiher, Jr. garden in front of the library.
