Pearl River Pelted by Heavy Rains, Faces Flood Warning

The heavy thunderstorms that hit Pearl River at approximately 4 p.m. Wednesday could continue.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Rockland County until 5:45 p.m. and is calling for a chance of thunderstorms into the evening.

It also issued a flood advisory that is in effect until 6:30 p.m. NWS also reports the hazardous weather could bring damaging winds, large hail and torrential rainfall.
