Cortlandt Manor Uncle Stabbed Nephew From Peekskill During Argument: NYSP
The violence took place at a Cortlandt home, after an argument escalated and the uncle grabbed a kitchen knife, police said.

CORTLANDT, NY — A family dispute took a violent turn in the early morning hours, according to state police.
New York State Police said on Thursday that a Cortlandt Manor man was arrested for stabbing his nephew, a Peekskill resident, earlier this summer in Cortlandt.
On June 15, around 3 a.m., troopers from the Cortlandt barracks were dispatched to a Sunoco gas station, in the City of Peekskill, after receiving a report of a stabbing that had taken place in the Town of Cortlandt.

At the address, troopers interviewed the victim and caller, 35-year-old Carlos A. Tarma Quinde, of Peekskill. He told police that while visiting a private home on Beverly Road, in the Town of Cortlandt, he became involved in a physical altercation during which he was stabbed.
After an investigation by troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the suspect was identified as 47-year-old Arsenio F. Coronel-Espinoza, of Cortlandt Manor, reportedly the victim's uncle.

Investigators determined that Coronel-Espinoza stabbed Tarma Quinde with a kitchen knife during the fight.
Coronel-Espinoza was arrested on June 15 and charged with felony second-degree assault (intent to cause physical injury with weapon/instrument), and felony third-degree criminal possession of a weapon (previous conviction).
He was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on his own recognizance.
