What's happening in Peekskill and Cortlandt this week.

Cortlandt and Peekskill are slated to see precipitation often—a chance of showers is in the forecast for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—this week. Monday's weather looks clear and sunny. Temperatures all week will likely hover in the high 70s and low 80s, according to reports.

Cortlandt's Town Board is meeting for a work session this evening at 7. The town's planning board will gather tomorrow at 7. Topics of discussion for the latter will include an application for a change of use, from a veterinarian to a dental office, at an Albany Post Road building, and more parking there; a special permit application for a Halloween haunted house; public hearings and more.
