Hudson Line Service Delays After Amtrak Train Hits Pedestrian

The incident took place near Peekskill, the MTA said.

PEEKSKILL, NY — An Amtrak train hit a person on the tracks near Peekskill, according to the MTA.

Hudson Line service was halted but has resumed with delays in both directions of up to 60 minutes.

Single-tracking and speed restrictions are in effect between Cortlandt and Manitou while police continue to investigate, the MTA said.
