PEEKSKILL, NY — The ballots are in and voters have decided on the 2025 budget and school board.

Here are the unofficial results.

The proposed Peekskill schools spending plan of $131,740,528 passed, with 368 voting yes and 87 voting no.

The new budget is 7.06 percent higher than the current budget.

The tax levy is expected to be increased by 1.5 percent.

Three school board seats were up for election. Mary Angel Flores (344 votes), Frank Robinson Jr. (296 votes), and Jillian Villon (310 votes) were elected to those seats.
