35th season of the Peekskill Farmers Market coincides with the 26th Annual Open Artist Studio Tours
The 35th season of the Peekskill Farmers Market opens Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 9am on Bank Street in Peekskill, New York, rain or shine. The market is open until 2pm.
There are many returning vendors and several new ones. Fresh vegetables, fruits, pickles, olives, fresh baked goods, cheeses, farm fresh eggs, flowers, handmade soaps, fragrant lotions, coffee, wines and spirits, healthy beverages and so much more will be available at the market. Weekly participating vendors will be announced on the Peekskill Farmers Market Facebook page.
“Everyone looks forward to the opening of the Peekskill Farmers Market, and in this milestone year, we want everyone to discover everything Peekskill has to offer when they visit the market. We have great public art, amazing history and dining and shopping options galore—all within easy walking distance of the market location,” said Bill Powers, Executive Director, Peekskill Business Improvement District.

The market operates every Saturday from 9am to 2pm in Downtown Peekskill, New York, through November 22, 2025. The market provides a fresh alternative food source for downtown residents and visitors and increases foot traffic into downtown businesses.
The opening of the farmers market coincides with the 26th Annual Open Studio Tours, presented by the Peekskill Arts Alliance. Peekskill's art scene comes alive Saturday and Sunday, June 7 and 8 from Noon to 5 pm, rain or shine. Artist studios, galleries and other venues will be buzzing with artistic energy all weekend long. “This is the one time of year where visitors can meet artists like me working in our studios or engaging other artists in galleries or other venues. In downtown Peekskill this weekend, we are saying art is for everyone. Stop by and say hello,” said Illustrator David Abrevaya.
Free parking is available at metered spaces on street, in surface lots, and in parking garages on Saturdays and Sundays. The James Street Parking garage and the Nelson Avenue garage have multiple levels of convenient, free parking.
The farmers market is sponsored by New York Presbyterian Hospital and Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union, along with support from the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce.
