Peekskill Library Celebrates Make a Difference Day

The celebration will feature book giveaways for kids and a giant tag sale.

“Make a Difference Day” is being celebrated at The Field Library in Peekskill on Saturday, October 29th from 11 am until 2 pm. Children of all ages are invited to pick out a free stack of books for their home library! The program is hosted by “Peekskill Reads,” which is headed by Drew Claxton.

“Men Who Read” volunteers will be here to read stories to children. Refreshments will be served.

There will also be a giant tag sale on the library plaza from 10 am until 2 pm. The tag sale is sponsored by the Peekskill Seniors Club and The Field Library.
