Peekskill Teen Accused Of Hitting Boyfriend's Face With A Rock And A Cellphone: NYSP

The violence took place at a Cortlandt home after an argument, leaving the man with facial injuries, police said.

CORTLANDT, NY — An apparent case of domestic violence led to the arrest of a Westchester teenager, according to state police.

New York State Police said on Thursday that a Peekskill woman was arrested after the domestic assault in the town of Cortlandt.

On June 24, at 6:05 p.m., troopers from the Cortlandt barracks responded to a home on Reynold Lane, in the Town of Cortlandt, after receiving a report of a domestic assault.

After an investigation by responding troopers and members of the Bureau of Criminal Investigation, it was determined that 19-year-old Amillyon A. Allen, of Peekskill, had struck her boyfriend in the face with both a rock and a cellphone after an argument.

Police say that the victim had facial injuries as a result.

Allen was arrested on June 25, and charged with felony second-degree assault (intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or dangerous instrument), and misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon (intent to use). She was arraigned in the Town of Cortlandt Court and released on her own recognizance.
