ShopRite To Hold Job Fairs In Hudson Valley
The supermarket chain is opening a new store in the fall in Elmsford and will be interviewing for that location as well.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — ShopRite is hosting a job fair Thursday, May 19 to fill a variety of positions at its grocery stores throughout the Hudson Valley.
The chain is planning to open a new supermarket in Elmsford in the fall, and on that same day will be screening applicants at the ShopRite of Scarsdale, 955 Central Park Ave.
All the walk-up job fairs will take place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at most ShopRite locations in the Hudson Valley, or an application can be completed online, according to a news release.

Candidates are being sought for career opportunities in retail, management, customer service and business.
People who visit any participating ShopRite May 19 can speak with a hiring representative for an immediate interview. Full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on store location.

Available positions, including general, perishable, front-end and stocking clerks, feature flexible hours and a wide variety of cross-training to provide employees with the knowledge, skills and tools to work as a team throughout the store. Training programs include a game-based training app and are designed to provide a solid foundation so each individual can achieve their best and pursue career goals at ShopRite.
ShopRite also offers associates entertainment and tuition discounts, as well as scholarship opportunities, and associates can work for stores that are part of the retailer-owned supermarket cooperative Wakefern Food Corp.
