'Streetscape' Car Will Soon Be Collecting Photographs Of Properties
The Town of Cortlandt Assessor is updating its recently acquired New York State Assessment Database to streamline the assessment process.

CORTLANDT, NY — Somebody could be taking pictures of your home in the coming days and weeks, but don't be alarmed — it's just routine property assessment.
The Town of Cortlandt’s Office of the Town Assessor said it is in the process of updating its recently acquired New York State Assessment Database. In order to enhance the assessment process, photos of properties within the town, the Village of Croton and the Village of Buchanan will be added to the Assessment database, officials said.
A vehicle will be driving throughout the town to complete this project. The town seal will be displayed on the vehicle.
