Tioga County Motorcyclist Killed In Crash
The incident happened near the scenic overlook on Bear Mountain Bridge Road.
CORTLANDT, NY — An upstate man was killed Friday when his motorcycle crashed head-on into a car on Bear Mountain Bridge Road.
The New York State Police said fatal crash happened around 3:25 a.m. in the area of the scenic overlook in the town of Cortlandt.
The initial investigation found Matthew J. Milicic Jr., 66, of Newark Valley, Tioga County, was operating a 2008 Honda motorcycle headed east on Bear Mountain Bridge Road.

Police said, for unknown reasons, the Milicic's motorcycle traveled into the westbound lane and struck an oncoming 2020 Honda sedan.
He was taken to Annesville Circle by Peekskill Emergency Medical Services and then taken by Hackensack Meridian Health Helicopter to Westchester Medical Center where he died of his injuries.
