Trio Of Bandits From Connecticut Hit Westchester Kohl's Stores: NYSP
The group has been connected to thefts at stores in Cortlandt Manor, Bedford and across the tri-state area, according to state police.

CORTLANDT MANOR, NY — A prolific trio connected to a string of store thefts across the region are now facing felony charges, according to state troopers.
The New York State Police in Cortlandt say they have arrested three Connecticut residents in connection with an organized retail theft operation targeting Kohl's stores in the area.
On March 13, troopers responded to a report of three people concealing merchandise at the Kohl's store in Cortlandt Manor. When they tried to leave the store with $6,152.88 in stolen items, the suspects were apprehended by state police, with assistance from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), officials said.

The trio included 32-year-old Tyeisha R. Bridges, of Hartford; 25-year-old Shatoya A. Lewis, of Hartford; and 23-year-old Eve G. Mitto, of Windsor. They were each charged with felony third-degree grand larceny, and felony third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Police say that further investigation linked the suspects to a separate theft at the Kohl's store in Bedford, where they allegedly stole $10,020.21 in merchandise.

The suspects were arraigned on March 13, and released on their own recognizance. They were then turned over to the Town of Bedford Police Department for further investigation.
Investigators believe that the three suspects are part of an organized retail theft group targeting Kohl's locations across the tri-state area.
