NY African American History Commission Begins Listening Tour In The HV

The public is invited in person or online. NY Parks officials will give a presentation on their "Our Whole History" initiative.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — The State Commission on African American History starts a listening tour of the state Thursday evening in Yonkers as part of its work to highlight 400 years of contributions, achievements and culture of African Americans and Blacks to and in New York.

The public is invited.

To attend in person, registration is required and can be done until 3 p.m. Thursday by email to RSVP-NYSCAAH@dos.ny.gov. Otherwise, you can watch it livestreamed here.
