• Pelham Fire Department continues Christmas Eve Santa Stops tradition (shelbycountyreporter.com) — Pelham families can once again look forward to the Fire Department’s Christmas Eve Santa Stops, a tradition that now uses scheduled neighborhood visits instead of driving every street. Engines will make about 25–30 brief, well-lit stops per station, and residents can track routes and timing on the department’s Facebook page to be ready when Santa arrives.
