Pelham Forensics Speech Team at Fordham Prep Wins Big

From Pelham School District:

This past Saturday, the PMHS Forensics Speech Team competed at a tournament at Fordham Prep. The team placed an impressive 6th place overall.

Sophomore Athena Woodfin in JV Oral Interpretation,

Sophomore Ben Glickman in JV Extemporaneous Speaking

Senior Halle Tirsch in Varsity Oral Interpretation

Senior Alexandria Tiso in Original Oratory

Special congratulations goes to Sophomore Violet Massie-Vereker for winning FIRST place in Declamation. At this early point in the season, Violet has received a "full qualification" to the NY State Championships to be held at Hofstra University this Spring.
