Pelham Library Celebrating Start of Summer Reading With 'Bash The Trash'

The library's event is to kick off its summer reading program.

PELHAM, NY - The Town of Pelham Public Library is celebrating the start of its summer reading program with a performance by musical group Bash The Trash.

The performance is planned for June 23 at 3:30 p.m.

"Bash the Trash is what it sounds like – the organization has been building, performing and educating with instruments made from recycled and reused materials for more than 25 years," the library notes.

Kids will be encouraged to make their own instruments from regular materials after the performance, the library said, adding that attendance is limited to 50 people.
