PELHAM, NY — Employees and customers looked on from the parking lot as fire crews ran lines and doused flames at a popular Westchester County entertainment destination this weekend.

Just before 8 p.m. on Sunday, a fire in a hallway elevator disrupted the fun at Dave and Buster's in Pelham Manor, according to workers. The building was quickly evacuated and the fire was soon brought under control by Pelham and Pelham Manor fire crews.

Other businesses in the shopping center, including the ShopRite supermarket, were not evacuated. The Dave and Buster's location was able to reopen for normal business hours on Monday and no injuries were reported.
