Missing Vulnerable Teen Found Safe After Search And Appeal
The Pelham Police Department had asked the public for help finding the missing, non-verbal 18-year-old who has been diagnosed with autism.
PELHAM, NY — A vulnerable 18-year-old with autism has been found safe after going missing from the Village of Pelham on Thursday, at 1 p.m.
"The missing individual has been located and reunited with his family," the Village of Pelham Police Department said in a statement released Thursday night. "Thank you to all law enforcement agencies for their assistance during this incident and to the entire Pelham and surrounding area communities for all their efforts."
