3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off Needs Chefs
Plainview community asked to serve up their best chili, raise scholarship money in the process.
The third-annual "Chili Cook-Off," which has quickly become a must-attend Plainview JFK event, is calling for all interested chefs.
The goal: Win the title of “POB’s Most Delicious Chili” and raise money for the "Dollars for Scholars" scholarship campaign. The awards are presented to graduating seniors for their dedicated involvement in school and/or community or their family.
The event, sponsored by Plainview JFK's PTA, has drawn both amateur and professional chefs and a wide range of tasty chili recipes to the high school.
The organizers now need contestants to compete in the Feb. 25 event. The contest rules and contact information are contained on the documents attached to this article.
