Cops: Man Quits Job; Robs Family Outside Target
Police find Westbury man a short time later near Broadway Mall in Hicksville.

An disgruntled man quit his job at Target in the Broadway Mall Sunday, then robbed a family of four standing outside the Hicksville store.
Nassau County Police later located and charged Keddy Olivier, 17, of Westbury with two-counts each of robbery and endangering the welfare of a child.
The incident took place at Target about 1:15 p.m. Sunday when Olivier, stormed out of the department store after quitting his job, police said. Once outside, he confronted a young couple and their two small children. The family was waiting for a ride.
Police said Olivier pushed and demanded money from the victims while forming his hand in the shape of a gun, "pointing" it toward the husband and children. The wife, fearing for her family’s safety, handed over an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
Olivier fled on foot but officers from the 2nd Precinct were able to locate him on nearby Nevada Street and place him under arrest. No injuries were reported.
Olivier is charged with two counts of robbery and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was arraigned Monday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
