OLD BETHPAGE, NY — A 40,000-square-foot landfill in Old Bethpage may be turned into a recycling center, according to a report.

Oyster Bay town officials are seeking consulting services on a new solid waste and recycling facility, Newsday reported over the weekend. The center would be located at either the Old Bethpage Solid Waste Disposal Complex on Bethpage-Sweet Hollow Road or another site.
